Dinner was fantastic! We were looking for a nice dinner and not a chain and got really lucky. it was a very romantic setting and the scallops melted in my mouth, cooked perfectly, I highly recommend this place. Can't wait for dessert.

I would call the Wooden Spoon a hidden treasure. I know the restaurant has been around for several years but I had never felt the need to explore it. There are many restaurants around here, new ones, old ones , most of them good ones, we tend to go to our favorites. However if a restaurants puts themselves out and has a coupon through Locovore I have to try it. That is how we ended at the Wooden Spoon tonight. The food is excellent, I had the pan roasted pork chop, a piece of boneless pork done to perfection, served over a bed of grilled corn, and corn size pieces of zucchini in a delicious sauce. Finished with a balsamic reduction. My husband had the pasta dish, ear shaped pasta, with shrimp and sausage again in a delicious sauce (not tomato). Do not miss desert! We shared a piece of a close relative of Tiramisu, minus the whipped cream. Take my word for it, it was excellent . A high wedge of chocolate mousse with a lady's finger crust, the lady's fingers natural, barely sweet not soaked in anything. I would love to give the Wooden Spoon 5 stars, but I have to take a star away because of extreme noise, unfortunately we were sitting near a party of 12 celebrating something who spoke all at once and consequently shouted above each other.

We went on Valentine's Day. We had a reservation but weren't informed about the prix fixe menu. So that was disappointing. The service was efficient but curt. We started with the baby back ribs and beet salad as an appetizer. Ribs were flavorful but dry. Beet salad was excellent. For entrees Filet mignon was cooked perfectly with a delicious bernaise sauce. The sauce in the roasted Swordfish dish was delicious but the fish was dry and served cool. Desserts included chocolate cheesecake and white chocolate mousse with strawberries. No coffee was offered until the desserts were on the table for a bit. And the check was placed with the dessert. A little rushed. Overall, we were left full but feeling ambiguous about the entire experience.

This place is consistently good. The burger is really great, even though its very simple, and I like that. No fancy sauce or accoutrements, just a well made piece of meat with fresh veggies on a decent piece of ciabatta. I got an onion and apple soup there once as well and it was fantastic. Definitely on the pricier side, but a nice date night dinner place or for a business lunch.

I've eaten at this fine restaurant about 5 or 6 times now and have never anything to complain about. I ate there last night with two friends. I had the flat iron steak and it was delicious. We shared an appetizer of the "hot" wings. They were full of flavor and didn't take our heads off! We all enjoyed our meals. The service is very friendly and unhurried. We had a little time to kill and the server was very pleasant with no pressure to hurry up and leave, even though the place had filled up while we were there. If there is a drawback, it's only that the menu is somewhat small, and they were out of a couple of items. However, it gives the chef the ability to concentrate on doing an excellent job of what they are preparing that night.

I stopped back in to the Wooden Spoon last week. This time I tried the wings and I really liked them. I usually order my wings extra crispy and often times with the sauce on the side, but NEVER the first time I that order them at a new spot. My thinking is, I like them crispy, and not super messy, sometimes hot, but not super I hate you the next morning hot. I never order them like that on the first try; I always give the establishment an opportunity to win me over with their style which is often times unique to their restaurant. IMO the wings came out perfectly. With at least a full dozen to an order, it was a fair price at $9. They were crispy and had just the right amount of sauce to add a zing of flavor. Word has it that they will kick them up to a level of heat you like upon request. I'll try a specialty flavor like rum and coke the next time I order wings. I think they change up and offer a flavor of the week, but I'm betting you could get a past flavor if you ask. I'm still holding back a star, until they are aren't unpacking glasses and "prepping" in front of customers in the main dining room. To their credit, I did get there just as they opened around 5:15 PM. I picked up a couple of JumpOnIT offers last week and will hold my next review for a large plate. I'll wait another couple of weeks to make sure all the supplies have been unpacked. I'm thinking I'll be able to pull out that 5th star on my next visit.

Food is great here. I've been hearing rave reviews from friends for the past few years about their burgers. I've tried a few dinner options and always been impressed with the quality of the food. Portion size leaves a bit to be desired. Service has been mixed - not the best. We will be back to check out the burger soon. Love the steak, salmon, scallops. I might have to update this review once I try their burger.

My wife and I were passing through on our way to a friend's wedding and stopped to eat dinner as there isn't much outside Burlington on the way. In glad we did. We arrived at 6:30, just in time. The bar was the only option for some arriving after 7pm. I ordered the burger and fries with the zucchini fritters to start. Both were presented well, but more importantly were delicious. My wife ordered the Thai lettuce wraps as well as a corn and Rosemary cream soup on special. She enjoyed then both, but didn't quite finish her soup as it was a big boy sized bowl. The server was excellent and attentive. I would definitely return if it was closer than 1500 miles from my house.

I would love to give it 4 stars but the atmosphere could use some upgrades as well as the bathroom. We were greeted and given our table quickly and service was excellent. We both ordered small plates and entrees, corn bisque and squash fritters and both were very nice. For entrees we had the scallops and the sirloin steak. I had a few bites of the scallops that I'd wished would have been better cleaned and overall I thought the plates were missing larger sides with them but the food was good. I don't think we'll add to our top places to return as the prices were too high for the atmosphere and food. Lots of great competition in the 20-30/entree option in Burlington area.

Atmosphere is trendy and hip, yet cozy. We had the dry rubbed wings with ranch dipping sauce as a starter. These were absolutely delicious! The skin was crispy, locking in the tender and juicy wing meat. For entrees we had the swordfish special and the pan seared jumbo scallops. These dishes were crazy good! We're from the Boston, MA area where seafood is plentiful and fresh. These Wooden Spoon dishes could easily be served and rival others served on the Boston waterfront. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic. Perfect execution! We'll be back for sure!

Words can't tell how great this place is!! Went for my birthday, service was great, had an entree from the nightly specials, Surf & Turf, it was amazing, the bread is amazing, ordered a Manhattan and they we'rout of sweet vermouth, I said, no worries just substitute Grand Marnier, The server was amazing, brought me dessert with candle. Love that they have early bird specials for us "old people"

We were a party of six. Everyone really liked it. I was the exception. The service and ambience were fine. My main issue was the scallops. They were fine and cooked to my satisfaction. The problem was that they were excessively salty which I think was the cause. I believe that there may have been a lot of MSG added which would make it salty. I also experienced GI pains and diarrhea which I am susceptible to with MSG. Another item was that a restaurant of this price range did not accept the American Express card. A bit chintzy!! I might try it again but will be careful what I order. I am giving it three stars.

Delicious food, great service, and perfect portions. This was our third time at Wooden Spoon and once again, we were not disappointed. We entered a relatively quiet restaurant just after 8pm on a Friday and were promptly seated at the table of our choice. I ordered the blackened fish tacos, sweet potato salad, and strawberry rhubarb crisp for dessert. My husband had the scallops and caramel creme pudding for dessert. The scallops were perfectly cooked. If you want seafood cooked correctly and served with delicious sides and a just-right portion, this is the place to go. I have never had seafood cooked as well in the Burlington area. On our first visit, the waitperson told us that the chef had cooked in the Virgin Islands for many years, which is why the seafood is always delicious. The fish tacos were very tasty, with the right balance of sweet and savory with the fish, fresh watermelon, and other spices. The sweet potato salad wasn't great. Some of the potato chunks were undercooked and crunchy, and they were tossed in an uninteresting and heavy mayonnaise-type dressing. The desserts came out in small ball jars, perfectly portioned. The crisp was warmed but not quite all the way through, but the flavor was spot on - not too sweet. The caramel creme pudding was delicious - again, not too sweet, with the salted caramel flavor balancing well with the creamy caramel pudding. The price was also right - a full meal for two including dessert for $60.

Loved the Thai lettuce wraps, spinach salad, and special cranberry gimlet! Everything was super fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back soon.

Brought my daughter up for her st mikes registration day and stayed across the street at the doubletree. Was pleasantly surprised to find the wooden spoon bistro, located in an obscure strip mall on my yelp app with good reviews (considering the option for eating at the hotel restaurant). When dining with an 18yo it's tricky to find a comfortable spot for both of us. But the wsb fit the bill. We were comfortable sitting at the bar, and people around us were quite friendly. I ordered my martini and we shared the calamari - very good. It was around 9 pm and we like smaller portions so we ordered fresh field green salads with grilled salmon and chicken, making sure we saved room for the desserts our friends at the bar recommended. The wait staff, locals and food were all great. Considering how many more times ill be coming up to burlington in the next 4 years, I can safely say I will be back and will recommend this spot to others.

Mixed experience. We went there last night with the $20 for $40 localvore coupon. We ordered the beet salad, the burger and the scallops. Beet salad was the star of the show - excellent flavor, very good dressing. If I could have had a dinner-sized version one of these, I would have. I'd give the salad a solid 4 stars. Burger was terrible. Cold, undercooked, mushy texture and underseasoned. I only eat meat 3-4 times a year and I was left very disappointed in my choice here. Burger gets a 0-stars. If you want a burger, Texas Roadhouse in Williston has the best within 50 miles and they're cheaper too. Go there instead. It's hard to imagine how a "bistro" like this could get a simple burger so wrong! Scallops were ok. Nicely cooked, and served with asparagus but the plate could have used more veggies. I know scallops aren't cheap, but there was not enough food for the price. More veggies are not expensive, and they would have turned this $20 snack into a decent meal. Scallops get 2-stars. Bread basket was anemic and we weren't offered a refill. Even with the 50% coupon, I'm giving this place 2 stars. Without the coupon, 1 star would be generous. If there's another 50% coupon, I'll try it again and order 4 beet salads. Otherwise, no thanks.

Simply said, way over priced. Dinner for 2 was $90?! One appetizer, a beer a piece, a scallop entree, and a spare rib entree. Scallop entree was $24, which I understand for not being near the coast, but came with only 3 heavily salted, essentially inedible scallops, and a side of ordinary veggies! I never send back food, but did with the scallops, they insisted on cooking us another serving of it, instead of something else. Still just as bad, and the help was not pleased with us, and did not subtract it from the bill, instead sending the chef over to gill us as to why we didn't like it. If I ever go back, avoiding seafood, and probably sticking to appetizers. I've seen places in Boston that charge less for better food.

A great find in Chittenden County. Spectacular food, casual ambiance and friendly service. It all adds up to a terrific experience.

  • Denise M.

Have to give one star just for the service. The food cannot be ordered your way and if you order a drink that is not made correctly and you send it back, they still charge you for it. The manager does not have your back and does not care if you are not happy with your experience there. Loved it the first time we went and now would never go back.

Such a great little place!! So glad we found this on yelp. The crispy chicken and the vegetable tart were delicious. The scallops were amazing. The blood orange margarita was strong!!! The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the service was a bit non-existent. The servers were great but when they disappeared, they really disappeared. Can't wait to eat here on our next trip to town!!

Go early and sit at the bar if you don't have a reservation. Go with a friend who is paying, the prices and portions are not like the neighboring eateries. My third visit and best yet! I went on the unveiling of the new Fall menu. A refreshing local vodka & bitters with ginger beer started my meal. Shrimp rolls were cooked perfectly with crisp exterior and a mostly all shrimp filling. The plum sauce was great with a perfect balance of seasoning. The salad was the highlight of the meal for me. Roasted autumn vegetables with greens, blue cheese, pecans and cranberry vinaigrette. I'll be recreating this dish at home this fall. The burger I ordered was plain (no cheese, bacon...) and really very plain (no sear, not well seasoned) the roll was good and the fries were tasty. I am a fan of the salted carmel italian pudding which I had once before about a year ago. The portion size since my last visit reduced and the texture this time was slightly grainy. I missed the addition of extra carmel and the generous amount of whipped cream. If you got some bucks to spare on tasty meal with fresh ingredients The WSB can help you out.

Had an awesome dinner at this little restaurant! Started off with the shrimp eggrolls (good amount of shrimp) and had the special blackened talipia over a crab cake in a creamy corn sauce. HUGE portion and was definitely a good choice, you gotta like Cajun seasoning though. My girlfriend had the scallops and they were perfectly cooked. Creative drinks and menu! Wasn't completely stoked on the service, but it's a relaxed environment with friendly people. Heard they are opening another little bistro on St Paul and they also have a food truck they bring to ArtsRiot on Friday nights in the summer.

Went with a friend for dinner last night. The restaurant is located right behind Quizno's in the same complex as the Higher Ground. Plenty of parking outside (when there's no show right next door). The atmosphere is pretty bland like one of the yelpers mentioned. Several boothes, tall tables, and bars. The bar has a decent selection of wines and beer on draft. The wait staff is fairly attentive but not super friendly. It's more of a bar than a restaurant. Maybe that's why the service is just mediocre. The food is pretty generic "bistro" food that plagues the Burlington dining scene. It's basically the same type of food that you see at Daily Planet and etc. It's an "upscale" bar / diner food. The menus are pretty conservative and nothing creative or features exotic ingredients. I ended up getting the burger and Caesar salad. They were pretty good but not mind blowing at all. My friend got the salmon dish and it was mediocre at best. I think this is a great dining option for people with cars who want to avoid the hassle of going downtown to get mediocre American food. Seriously, how many of this "American bistro" type restaurant does Burlington need?

The Wooden Spoon Bistro exemplifies Burlington's love affair with the bistro bar. A bistro bar is a bipolar amalgam between a nice, contemporary bistro and a fully-stocked sports bar complete with flatscreens on ESPN. I guess a fitting description would be a branch off of a gastropub, Vermont-style. The menu is made up of a number of big and small plates to reflect both gastropub fare and new American. Balancing sweetness in dishes seemed to be a recurring motif on the menu. Even the dinner bread was accompanied by maple butter. For an appetizer, we started off with the recommended grilled cheese with tomato-red pepper bisque. The grilled cheese itself was perfectly toasted and the Grafton cheddar cheese was amazing. It went really well with the bisque. I would have enjoyed the whole plate if half my sandwich had not been soaking in the bisque. Next time, forgo the presentation and practically place the grilled cheese on the side. The big plates were a bit deceiving in that the portion sizes weren't that large at all. I had the gnocchi bolognese and my girlfriend tried the pan roasted salmon. The best part about the gnocchi was the ground pork and beef. The sauce was a bit heavy in wine and the gnocchi was inconsistently lumpy. The Caribbean-inspired salmon dish lacked any acid to complement the fish, but the salmon itself was cooked well. The large dishes are a bit overpriced for what you get. I would stick to trying some more of the small plates.

  • Kate S.

Another great place to eat. Small place, not too crowded, sometimes difficult to get in. We usually have wings and brisket. I don't like sweet potatoes but the way they make it mashed is unbelievable. Drinks are good too. My favorite is white cranberry martini

  • Silas M.

I've gone a few times and the food is always decent. They seem to nail the scallops, even though I think they are over priced. The burger is consistently good. The fries are tasty especially with the truffle aioli, that stuff should be illegal. The chicken wings can be great, though the last time I went they were too salty. If you stick to the small plates you can find value, I think the large plates are overpriced. The location itself is small, but the staff is very friendly which somehow expands the feel. I do think they need a better ventilation system for the kitchen though, the last two times I've gone my clothes end up smelling like fried food. The smell of the grilled Mahi was intense when I entered last night. The drinks are good and strong. I'll keep going as it fills a nice niche in the SoBu and I'd hate for them to leave.

Typically, my coworkers and I stick to Church St., but we ventured to the airport around dinner and I discovered this on Yelp (Thanks Yelpers). Typical Burlington bistro-fare and prices. I had the special Oven Roasted Pork Tenderloin. They said it came medium, but I asked for a little more well done. Nice tender pork tenderloin with some crisp on the outside. Apple sauce was flavorful and so was the asparagus. I'm not a cheese polenta person, but it still had nice flavor/. I recommend this as a good option for other business travelers.

Four stars based on past experiences, not this one which was sub-par. This bistro has good food with good ingredients, nothing too fancy. This business dinner started with the fried clams. My first bite apparently contained all the crushed clam shells for the serving. The clam necks were skinny little things. Not worthy to ever order again. The fish and chips were promising, "blue corn encrusted something or other". The nugets were on the hard side, they took more than the tines of a fork to break off a piece. That said, they have a dessert consisting of two layers, caramel and something else and its salted. A must order even if you are full. So.. Four stars based on past excellent food and service. OH...they don't take AmEx, so plan accordingly.

This place is a hidden jewel. Amazing food. Had the scallops and the Korean short ribs which were both perfect. Meghan was our server and was equally good. Don't skip this place.

Good, dependable bistro-style restaurant with inspired (but not too way out there) menu choices. I've had the scallops and the tempeh, and my wife has had the filet and the pork chop. All were nicely done with excellent accompaniments (esp. the brussels sprouts). The only negative -- and it's a minor one -- is the dining room is a bit plain ... doesn't match the refined cuisine. Not an ugly restaurant by any means - but the decor is uninspired -- the chef deserves a more elegant setting.

Try the five onion soup! It's amazing. Their bistro style burgers are really wonderful. The seared scallops with truffle reduction are outstanding. They use high quality scallops and seared them perfectly. For dessert, definitely try the butterscotch pudding with a top layer of salted caramel. It's delicious, really delicious.

Excellent meal! My favorite new restaurant in Vermont after a delightful and satisfying dinner. Our table had the crab cake small plate, and the grilled shrimp & jalapeño fritters that had a to-die-for bacon chutney-like sauce. bomb! We followed with the Swordfish special and Arugula, Peach, goat cheese salad---both seasoned and cooked perfectly. Topped the night with a citrus cheesecake with blueberries and a local beer selection. Compliments to the chef, a great restaurant to check out in the Burlington area.

I've been here a few times over the last few weeks and it's been great! The conch fritters are yummy, with a delicious aioli dipping sauce. The scallops are so, so yummy and come with a heaping pile of mashed potatoes. This last time I had the burger. I don't believe they make any claims as to where the meat is sourced, but that is a good effing burger. Juicy, cooked to perfection, absolutely wonderful. I've not been able to order anything for dessert yet, but those always sound so enticing, I might try to go light on the meal next time so I can indulge.

FOOD: Excellent -Roasted artichoke and shallot soup $5 (from the daily specials chalk board). Delicious. Perfect balance of creamy and thick without being too heavy. I could taste the artichoke and the hint of shallot along with the fresh herbs. -Pear and Arugula salad $9 (from the Spring Dinner Menu). Pears, toasted walnuts, goat cheese, maple vinaigrette. The right amount of dressing. I liked that the goat cheese was sliced into smaller pieces rather than a big piece plopped on top. The pears were minced and fell to the bottom of the salad so I wished they weren't sliced so small. BEER SELECTION: Good I think there were 3 or 4 beers on tap, at least from what I could see at the bar. All of them looked local. I had the Wolaver's Wildflower Wheat and fell completely in love with the first sip. It was sweet and not too heavy. A new favorite for sure. I hope there's somewhere in/near DC where I can find it. SERVICE: Good I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. LAYOUT: Good Small but nice. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK: Good I had soup, salad, and a beer and the bill came to just over $20. Not bad at all especially given the high quality ingredients. CHANCE OF RETURNING: 100% Possibly as soon as tomorrow but definitely next time I'm in the area.

They weren't what I was expecting, but in a great way! The ambiance was very clean and warm, despite it's obvious concrete bunker-like base. We were seated immediately by a very friendly staff. The menu was pretty small, but everything sounded really delicious and we still had a difficult time deciding! The fried risotto balls were amazing and I could eat them all day. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious. My fella had the salmon special and was very pleased. It's just a little pricy, but not overly so, a good date night spot that won't break the bank. The waitstaff was very friendly but needed a little practice. We already know what we want to try next and can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious! Small cozy dining area. Call ahead for reservations. Very tasty homemade food. Our whole family loved all the food. Wings are delicious! The cook even gave us all drumsticks on request! It is behind Dunkin Donuts, hard to find with GPS.

Awesome pork chop and salad. The only reason I rates this a 4 was the price. Entree 18,salad 8,wine 8 tip 10. I guess I should order smart. Seemed expensive for location and atmosphere. The food and service are great. Will return

This was probably the best meal I've had yet in the Burlington area. Everything I had was fantastic. For an appetizer I got the autumn vegetable chowder with bacon cider cream and truffle oil. The flavors went so well together and created a really unique chowder. I got the red wine braised short ribs for my entree and wasn't disappointed. Finally, on the recommendation of another customer I went with the salted caramel budino for dessert. It's a must try. I find that at a lot of restaurants they do one or two of the courses very well and the others are not at the same level. The Wooden Spoon managed to make every course equally as enjoyable and impressive. In addition to the wonderful food, my server Kim was attentive and friendly. I spoke with multiple people who have become regulars at the restaurant and they only had great things to say about the food and service. I can't wait to go back again! Actually, I think I might have to go back for a second night in a row.

I went to The Wooden Spoon Bistro on a Saturday night and I was seated right away. They just opened in September and I learned about them through a Vermontopia Jump On It deal. The first time I went in they weren't open but I met one of the owners who was extremely friendly and welcoming - definitely made me want to come back. Our meal started with warm bread and sweetened butter that was brought out with the menus - it was delicious and a great way to start the meal. I began with the Green House Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and feta cheese in a red wine vinaigrette. It was delicious and extremely fresh. My boyfriend ordered the Caesar Salad which was also good, but slightly overdressed. For our meal we decided to share some small plates instead of ordering entrees because we weren't very hungry. We shared the Grilled Cheese which turned out to be a ciabatta-like grilled cheddar cheese sandwich immersed in a bowl of tomato-red pepper bisque - it was delicious and quite filling. We also ordered the Hummus with grilled vegetables and bread - the hummus was quite good and though I did not like the vegetable selection, the vegetables were cooked nicely. They have TWO different chocolate cakes on their dessert menu - major points in my book! Overall I enjoyed my meal at The Wooden Spoon Bistro. They seem to be expanding their menu and adapting to business which is great. The owners / chefs seem friendly and I saw them around the restaurant interacting with customers which I really liked. I look forward to going back!

My family recently had dinner here. With 5 adults and two children under 1 year old, we can be a lot to handle. The waitresses were lovely and very helpful. They had a good selection of beer and wine. Because we were there with children we ordered only one course, but everyone enjoyed their food. I had a special - lobster salad with cherry tomatoes, corn, green beans, watermelon and arugula. It was delicious with plenty of lobster and the veggies were extremely fresh and tasty. My husband had scallops that were perfectly seared. We also had the zuchinni fritters for the table, which were tasty and good for sharing. For dessert, we had the Budino (a caramel pudding) which was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the chocolate cake and was less than impressed, but it was the one bad note of the meal. It did take a while for our food to come out, but it came out before the babies lost it. Overall, it was a good experience and we will be back again.

My food was good. This place seems to want to be more. The menu is reminiscent of Leunigs, Paulines, Daily Planet, etc but the place is really small. The bar is really close tot he dining "row". TV's on the wall in the bar make it more of a sports bar. It seems in search of an identity, and more space. I know I watch too many cooking shows like Top Chef, Kitchen Nightmares, Restaurant Impossible, etc. I find myself looking for what is NOT right almost immediately. Because this place is so small and there is a single door entrance (no vestibule) every time the door opens a blast of cold air (my visit was on a cold winter night) comes in. There is exposed insulation on the wall above the entrance. The decor was uninspired. The menu prices seem high based on my experience. My meal was fantastic! I finished it and found myself wanting more. My dessert was less exciting. Would I return? Probably not. The server was somewhat slow and did not do a good job of checking on us during the meal. While my food was good, the price was high and the atmosphere uninspired. An annoyance for me - I hate when establishments are unclear about special offers or refuse to honor offers. I had weeks long battle with Buffalo Wild Wings after they refused to honor an "expired" certificate (Vermont Law does not allow a gift certificate to expire). The total value of the BWW certificate was $15 and my bill was over $100. At the Wooden Spoon I had an offer for a free appetizer based on a Four Square check in and I had UVM Hockey Tickets from a game the night before. They advertise extensively that you can get a 10% discount for showing tickets for Higher Ground or UVM sporting events. I've never seen anything that states the tix must be for the same date as the meal. I am aware that you can not combine offers. I passed on the appetizer and went for the 10% off. They denied the discount based on the previously mentioned fact that the tix were for the day before the meal.

The Wooden Spoon seems to be a restaurant in search of an identity. The decor and service seem to be more in the sports bar vein, while the menu and prices seem to be striving for something classier. Service tonight, a Saturday, was lax. Server was forgetful and a little too casual. As for the food - the bread basket contained four tiny bits of bread with sweetened butter. Looked almost like leftovers from another table. Scallop and salmon plates were good. Companion's vegetarian special was little more than a heap of (tasty) tofu on top of tiny bits of potato, beet, and asparagus. Vegetarian for sure, but not so special. There are several places we'll try before we return to the Wooden Spoon.
